With the newer generations of iPhones, like the iPhone Xs series, X, and iPhone 8, you can simply ask Siri to do things for you.
One example of this is your iPhone’s flashlight. You simply tell Siri “Hey Siri! Turn-on flashlight” to have it activated.

1. Swipe Up From The Bottom of Your iPhone
You can do this from either your lock screen or your home screen. After swiping up, this will then bring you to your iPhone’s control center.

What To Do When iPhone Flashlight Won’t Turn Off?

1. Restart iPhone
The first thing most of us do when we encounter problems with our device is to restart it right away.
Hold and press the side and home buttons together until the screen shuts down. Release the buttons when the Apple logo appears on the screen.

2. Update To The Latest Version of iOS
Every iOS update comes with bug fixes, and you never know when your problem might be solved. It is advisable that we check for iOS updates from time to time.
Go to Settings > Software Update, if there’s an update, click on it.
3. Reset To Factory Settings
If the first two options do not solve your problem, try resetting your iPhone to factory settings. It resets all settings in your iPhone to the way they were when it was brand new. Above all, your data is safe as it does not delete them.
Go to Settings > General > Reset All Settings.
4. Contact Apple Support
Finally, if your iPhone flashlight won’t turn off even after you’ve tried the above fixes, then it is time for you to contact Apple support. You can also visit an Apple store near you.
